Clear Varnish Aluminum Zinc Coil

Clear varnish aluminum zinc coil is standard galvalume steel with a thin transparent organic coating (1–5 μm) applied over the Al-Zn surface. The clear lacquer preserves the natural metallic spangle appearance of the galvalume surface while adding fingerprint resistance during handling, extra barrier protection against initial white rust, and improved lubricity for roll forming. Thickness: 0.14–1.5 mm; width: up to 1,250 mm. Ideal for visible roofing and cladding where the natural galvalume look is preferred, plus appliance housings and general sheet metal fabrication.

Varnishing Al-Zn coated sheet involves applying a transparent organic coating (varnish or clear coat) over the surface of the Al-Zn coated steel sheet (GL sheet) to form a transparent protective film.Clear lacquer (or clear coat) is a colorless, transparent coating that forms a thin protective film without altering the metal's original color.

Quality Inspection

We first conduct a visual inspection to ensure the galvanized color steel coils are free of defects, facilitating subsequent processing and aesthetic use.
Coating Performance Testing: We use a magnetic thickness gauge or coating thickness gauge to test the paint film thickness, ensuring it meets the customer's required thickness. JXL STEEL can produce paint films with a thickness of 25 microns on both the front and back sides. After testing, we sequentially conduct adhesion, bending performance, hardness, and impact resistance tests to ensure the paint does not crack or peel during customer use, and the product is fully qualified.
Corrosion Resistance Testing: We will conduct salt spray tests to ensure that the color remains vibrant even in harsh operating environments.
