Galvanized steel coil refers to steel products that have a layer of zinc (Zn) coated on the surface of cold-rolled or hot-rolled steel strip and are supplied in coil or sheet form. Galvanized sheets are divided into spangled galvanized coils and unspangled galvanized coils. Zero-zinc flower galvanized coil (Spangle-free / Zero Spangle Galvanized Steel Coil) refers to galvanized steel coils whose surface does not show zinc crystal patterns (zinc flowers).

How is "spotless" galvanized coil achieved?

During the hot-dip galvanizing process, the following techniques are controlled:

• Controlling the cooling rate
• Adding elements that inhibit zinc crystal growth (such as lead substitution processes, antimony/bismuth control, etc.)
• Preventing the formation of a distinct crystalline structure in the zinc layer

The result is a fine zinc layer with no obvious zinc spangles.

Quality Inspection

• We first conduct a visual inspection to ensure the Zero-zinc flower galvanized coilare free of defects, facilitating subsequent processing and aesthetic use.
• Coating Performance Testing: We use a magnetic thickness gauge or coating thickness gauge to test the paint film thickness, ensuring it meets the customer's required thickness. JXL STEEL can produce paint films with a thickness of 25 microns on both the front and back sides. After testing, we sequentially conduct adhesion, bending performance, hardness, and impact resistance tests to ensure the paint does not crack or peel during customer use, and the product is fully qualified.
• Corrosion Resistance Testing: We will conduct salt spray tests to ensure that the color remains vibrant even in harsh operating environments.
